    An AWS problem in its largest US-East-1 region caused errors and latency that Downdetector linked to outages at more than 2,000 companies, including Snapchat, ChatGPT and Amazon's own Alexa. Amazon said in a blog post that the issue was fully resolved by that evening, disclosing the fix quickly even though the disruption itself reached a large share of the internet.
