What we stand for
The cost of producing a confident claim has collapsed to zero. Models, marketers, and gurus can generate fluent certainty faster than anyone can check it. We exist for the checking.
The mission
Make verification cheaper than bullshit. We read the papers, the books, the filings and the announcements, extract the claims that matter, test them against independent evidence, and publish verdicts anyone can audit. Then we teach the reflex, so you can do it without us.
The rules we hold ourselves to
1. Receipts or it did not happen.
Every verdict links its sources. Links are checked for liveness before we publish. A claim without receipts is an opinion.
2. Fluency is not truth.
Confidence, polish, and reach are not evidence. The smoother the claim, the harder we check it.
3. Verdicts are falsifiable.
Every verdict states what evidence would change it. If we cannot say what would prove us wrong, we do not publish.
4. Corrections are loud.
When we are wrong we say so at the same volume as the original claim. The record is dated and never silently edited.
5. Credit what holds.
We are skeptics, not cynics. When a claim survives the evidence, we stamp that just as loudly. When Munger's reasoning checks out, we say so.
6. Teach the immunity.
The end goal is not that you trust us. It is that you become harder to fool. Everything we publish is built to train that reflex.
